More developments are coming your way from ARAUCO North America

Beginning August 1st, we will be consolidating our composite panel brands and grade structure. The decision to restructure the naming of our products will create simple but effective brands and grades, as well as provide our customers with a clearer structure of our extensive offering across North America.

The number of products produced will not be reduced, but rather the objective is to allow for a simplified method for grouping brands and grades that aligns with our plants, along with the ability to concentrate our communication efforts on fewer, but stronger brands.

Moving forward all of our MDF panels which were previously branded as Trupan, Superior, Premier, EVO, eLite, Terra, Vesta and Vestex will now align with our global MDF brand Trupan.

The Fibrex brand will remain unchanged, consolidating our thin HDF offering.

Particleboard panels previously branded UltraPine will now be named Ultra.

The Duraflake brand name will remain unchanged. However, you may notice additional product descriptors along with the brand on product packaging and invoicing to clearly identify the grade (speciality).

The brand VESTA will now represent ARAUCO low emitting technology; the Vesta indicator, along with NAF or ULEF, will follow the substrate parent brand.

To summarize Arauco panel parent brands:

Particleboard - Ultra and Duraflake

MDF – Trupan

HDF – Fibrex
